i had some drama, a few falls, and a lot of love. Today marks one month officially in my own place! I keep learning, and meeting incredible people everywhere i go. I Finally got my typing program so i can respond to the emails and facebook messages i have been receiving the way i would like to (as fast as i can! im only one dude!) I am blessed with this incredible life experience. I am taking on my life in a way i never did before, And im taking it on fully, I want to be responsible for myself, and i will.
Help to save Mikey's life
As you know, Mikey has always been able to smile through the pain, no matter what, until recently. The pain in his stomach is now worse than ever and has led to an inability to eat, causing rapid weight loss. At 6'1", he's a meager 75 lbs and dropping fast. It's getting more difficult for Mikey to smile through the pain and fear.
One of the only places where Mikey can get help is the MAYO clinic in Minnesota. There, a team of specialized doctors will work together to figure out how his illnesses affect each other and can be treated to restore health and balance to his body so he can keep living his incredible life.
All of this obviously comes with a large amount of costs, which can only be covered with the help and donations of as many people as possible – even if it's just a dollar. Read an article in today Bergen Record.As a parent you can see how easy it was to put myself in their shoes.What a wonderful job theyve done instilling values in you that are lost in todays culture.Kudos to them and most of all from my family to yours we wish you all the joy and happiness you can,as you put it.."Squeeze out" Though you havent asked for any we feel compelled to give a small "donation" to keep you rolling ;) check your PO Box in the near future Mike. I saw the article in the Bergen Record today and that lead me to check out your blog. What an incredible inspiration you are! Wow. I called your Mom to vice my aprobations for both of you and your incredible journey that you are now on.
Our three children live in San Francisco. I'm going to send them your blog address and ask them if they might help you to make a visit to their places of employment. Anne works for Microsoft. Mark works for You Tube,and Brian works for Google. Its a couple of hours drive but I'll see what we can do to support you for the visit. I'm sure you will be an inspiration for everyone you'll have the opportunity to meet.
